What conditions DO qualify for the Maryland Medical Marijuana Program?

Any condition that is severe, for which other medical treatments have been ineffective, and the symptoms of which are expected to be relieved by medical cannabis. The following are conditions that may qualify for the program:

  • Cachexia
  • Anorexia
  • Wasting Syndrome
  • Severe or chronic pain
  • Severe nausea
  • Seizures
  • Severe or persistent muscle spasms
  • Glaucoma
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
